Spring High Jinks

spring high jinx

lusty sunbeams jive
 rowdy clouds do fandangos ~
  gusty winds kiss kites

ducklings surf the pond
fuzzy goslings in high jinx ~
  willow trees hula dance

spring stars waltz the sky
wink at comets streaking by ~
  corn planting moon sighs

rowdy zephyrs whoosh
 corralling spindrift laces ~
  crazy clouds spiral

shifting clouds speak riddles
guess the shape of changing clouds ~
  new green shoots tickled

whirlwind pranks tumble
 hijack dandelion puffs ~
  moonbeams tease midnight

Springtime described, as no other I have read - willow tree hula dance, how apt - shifting clouds speak riddles - moonbeams tease midnight. Fantastic write my friend. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer

Hi Jennifer! Many, many thanks for your lovely comment! I was hoping to capture the imp, the minx, that spring is! All the world seems to dance in spring's vibrancy! Thank you for affirming my hope. Always wonderful to find your comments in my inbox! They are like the refreshment and life of spring for me! Sending you hugs and spring blessings - even though you are experiencing autumn dear friend!

Thank you Sara! I am glad that you chose to read this one. Spring has such a fun personality. You never know what spring might be up to - contemplating! We had rain today - highly unusual for June! Spring is at it again. Blessings

Hi Tom! Thank you so much! Spring is such a busy season leaving her touch here and there - almost like adhd! I, again, have to give you credit for teaching me about haiku strings! I still love your African animal haiku string. Hope your weekend is very special! Over Fork Over!
