Spring Has Come

Spring Has Come Spring has come to my home town, The rabbits and squirrels are playing all around. As I walk down Union Street, Everyone is friendly that I meet. Concord has welcomed in the spring, It’s like God reached up and made the church bells ring. All the trees and grass have turned green, It’s one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. The azaleas are showing their best bloom, While the bees are laboring for more room. I see a beautiful monarch butterfly, His colors are gorgeous against the Carolina sky. Look for the signs; you’ll see the spring rain, Because now the flowers can drink once again. You will hold all these many wonders so dear, When once again God sends us spring next year. ©2011 Lynn B Glover
