Spring Has a Song To Sing

A melody to soothe
The aching heart...
There will be no more
Lonely days or nights of
Melancholy.
From each you must depart

Open your eyes,
There is is so much to see.
Look as her buds awake,
Rising from their sleepy beds
To make you smile,
To lift your spirits,
In the beautiful gardens
She'll make.

Allow your ears to hear
Spring's new melody.
A melody of love, to pamper
All that see.
Listen, birds are beginning to sing,
Forsythia spread joyous wings
Dressed all in spring's sunshine
Yellow. Rejoice!
