Spring Giving

The world that seemed so dull and cold
Has come alive once again behold
Little did we know found
That beneath the cold hard ground
The plants and trees withdrawn
Preparing for a new dawn

In spring, the literal and metaphoric seeds
That lay dormant for several months proceeds
To tentatively poke their heads through
The warming earth in view
Then burst into full bloom refuel
Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal

Spring gives us hope for rejuvenation
As well as imagination and aspiration
On the threshold of spring
We notice a quiet awakening bring
To re-invent and our lives
We find ourselves living gives
