Spring Forward

In the quiet dawn of March,
When winter relaxes its cold grip,
The daylight stretches its arms,
While serving a dynamic delight.

The sun, shining vibrantly,
decorates the sky with hues of hope,
Clocks leap forward eagerly,
And daffodils happily endorse.

Daisies roll out wispy vows,
Their petals, intricate art pieces,
Cherry blossoms’ fancy bows,
Dance intensely with the spring breezes.

Birdsongs jingle the mornings,
A symphony of joy and rebirth,
Old wisdom is whispering,
To initiate and leap forward.

Dear smita, im blown away by your descriptive language. So soulfully moving. the way you personify and bring nature alive through metaphors and artistic imagery truly is impeccable. I especially love the way youv written “ The sun, shining vibrantly, decorates the sky with hues of hope, Clocks leap forward eagerly, And daffodils happily endorse.” how gorgeous and fitting for right now too. “ Cherry blossoms’ fancy bows, Dance intensely with the spring breezes.” Love that! A fave this is!

Dawn and sunsets are my favorite time of the day. They both are so colourful. Your poem on dawn is excellent.
