Spring Awakenings
Springs Awakenings.
.
The mottled nibble butterfly
Stretches it’s paper like delicate wings
As the sun casts it’s warm pleasant light
The dainty robin heralds a new day born
And joyfully sings
As another day unfolds
Within the awakening mantel of spring
And a teasing gentle warming breeze
Caresses and stirs the tendril branches
And budding leaves
.
A hint of the summer yet to come
And natures treasure chest to behold
When the sun smiles more brightly
And replaces the clinging cold
.
A time of many blessings
Rebirth and awakenings
Hopes and desires relinquished
Within the glorious advent
And the arrival of spring.
