Spring

Stunningly dressed, stirring in her crib, spring awakens.
Plants and animals ready for the princesses arrival.
Rolling  waves of aviators, nippers, roamers scurry all.
In turn blooming blossoms, blossoming blooms flavor froth the air.
Nourishing rays, falling rains provide the infant sustenance.
Gathered, gleeful the first born takes her seasoned throne.

Hey I was right what I said to you. Charlotte revealed in her blog that she got hardly any spring poems and it was one of her favorite seasons of all. CONGRATS you had the best of the spring poems.

lots to love about this one - another brilliant personification of a season; I loved the alliteration and word play in that fourth line...I just felt the lines were a little long, maybe...? but for that, it may well have been a 1st place - congrats on your win in my contest :)

Hi Maurice...I was going to write about spring, but after this I don't have much new material left to make one! Love your imagery and would not mind borrowing that pen of yours! In my eyes this is already a winner. // paul (a 7 rating)
