Wonderful imagery in this haiku, Gert. The birds have been vacating Florida and heading back to Northern states. Growing up in NJ, it was always a delight to watch the migration of geese. Thanks for recalling these memories! Love, Carolyn

Nicely done, good imagery, I'm probably overstepping the mark here, please take it as constructive. Try to stick to 5-7-5, dropping the 'and' seems to work. 'nice' is an un-interesting word something like warm , cool, fresh would work well. P.S Loved the last line, there is something just right about it - Nick
