Spring Dr. Jim Martin The seasons are changing from Winter to Spring, The birds, with great exuberance do sing. It seems like more hours in each day, As all wildlife with more energy begins to play. The freshness in the air brings out much joy, In every little girl and boy. The excitement they experience each new day Can often be heard miles away. The beauty in Creation as seen in each flower, Makes one stand in awe at God’s great power. To smell each new fragrance that the wind does bring, And with the winged creatures begin to sing. To be refreshed with the afternoon rain, Is often helpful in relieving much pain. To sit in the shade by the gentle lake's shore, Is to be refreshed even more. Yes, Spring is a wonderful time of the year, When sounds of new life you begin to hear. Be thankful, dear friend, as you enjoy each day, Rejoice that God has made it this way.
