Spreading Happiness

Send the world a message with a smile,
Put on your happy face, cheer up, and
Remember to laugh once in a while.
Experience this moment in time,
And allow yourself to feel happy.
Don't ever forget that you're alive
In a world fueled by emotions.
Nothing speaks to the heart like a smile;
Go ahead and silently converse.

Hold on to hope, or it'll slip away;
And you won't know it until it's gone.
People who act on their fears are still
People, and we should treat them as such.
It can't hurt to smile and be polite;
No one likes to be screamed at, and yet
Everyone wants to be heard, and so
Sometimes, it escalates to shouting;
Smiles, however, are seldom ignored.
