Spots In the Night Sky

The colder dark rolls in,
Slowly and gently and black,
Its getting colder as it gets dim
Like a evil assassin attack
A dark silent strike from the back
Dark birds fly; fly fast and with fear
Are they birds; perhaps bats fly near
Whatever they are, they move with the dark,
Through the warmer and hot months of the year,
Towards a light, a shine or simply a spark.
