Spooky Tales

so busy with spooky tales
all i hear are screams and yells
comming to realize
how sick these people are
i never noticed
the strange and bizaar
their fantasies are out of this world
come to find out even the little girls
wives dreams of killing there mates
guy's with their minds on killing there dates
which reminds me
turn off that witches brew
theres still more time
it's only a little after two
it's still dark and we have a few soupers left
that we haven't threatened
or scared to death
it's a sad sad world
i spoke of monsters
they spoke of themselves
the mad, the vengful, the perverted
with super human strenght
to inflict torture
as their wills impose
ready to act, ready to explode
to what do we owe the horror of ours
abusive parents, a government that doesn't care
the horror that we could be a victom at any moment
from a bomb, or a family member
the blame
we owe it to ourselves
for being so perverted

You ran into a liberal??????? Hi John. I'm not sure how this duo contest works. I left a note on one of Sandra's poems. As a technology challenged poet, I'm still not sure how to soup mail or contact others outside of the commen sections. Vince

Some of the tales (not all) are a bit gory and frightening, but I guess that's what comes from the hearts of "haunted poets." Love you, Carolyn
