She had read the two children a story of Bow Peep She hadn’t finished it, and they were asleep. Quietly downstairs, not much on T.V. she had a look. So, she stretched out on the sofa and read her book. She explained she was just the sitter when the phone rang. Halloween and all to do was read her science book the BIG BANG. Her cell phone rang from Unknown caller, but no one was there. Again it rang same caller unknown, “Check the children, I care.” Who is this? But he hung up. Again the same caller, called. “Why haven’t you checked the children ?” “I did” she stalled. “No you haven’t” That must be a good book !” “Jeff is this you? Stop fooling around, you are scaring me, tell me I’ll count to 2 ” Another call meaner than before “Check the children NOW” She called the police, advised to keep him on the line somehow. “ Have you Checked The Children ?“ She was scared as a mouse. Police called “Get out! He is calling you from a phone in that house.”

Was probably the original of 'When a stranger calls' which is where I got the idea from. Thankx for the placement Tania. A fun contest.
