Spontaneous

It’s good to be spontaneous, Not stick to any plan. Be free to do most anything You feel like, when you can. Yet that won’t work for everyone And that’s including me. I like to know just how I’ll get From A to B to C. I’m more at ease when schedules Are plotted out and set, With reservations made and all Arrangements to be met. Still, I admire anyone Who’s wired in a way Allowing for decisions made Last minute, come-what-may. At times, I’ve hoped spontaneous Might be where I belong, But, with a few exceptions, My attempts all worked out wrong.

I love it that you are TRYING to be spontaneous! Some of us cannot help it!

When I go on trips I have to plan for every detail because I tend to be forgetful. At the supermarket I wait in a long line with mr own bags filled with groceries waiting to check out only to find out I forget my wallet (with credit card therein) on the $#@^& kitchen table! / Maurice

my spousal unit is much more spontaneous than i so we make quite the odd couple when it comes to how the time on our holidays/vacations is spent... i'm still learning how to "go with the flow"

Well written script, but do avoid Honolulu where the bus schedules are only pipe dreams! Aloha!

Interesting write, Ilene. As for me, I can only be 'spontaneous' when I have planned everything -- and then chuck it to the four winds. :)

Sometime the best laid plans fall apart despite any amount of planning. I'm a planner, but I'm becoming more daring, and just do it. Fun thoughts in your lines, Ilene.
