Splashing

Our feet are wet from walkin' in our rain, We ain't even walkin' 'round the puddles, Our minds and Your sky is muddled, But we've got no reason to complain. This old world's in so much trouble, We just keep makin' excuses, Shouting labels and ruses, One day soon You'll burst our bubble.. Our feet are wet from walkin' in our rain, But we've got no reason to complain. We vote for leaders who betray you, We profess to hear Your Word, but our actions are deferred, As in your babes, we try to slay You. Our feet are wet from walkin' in our rain, But we've got no reason to complain. We, your children, are in so much pain, I pray for Wisdom from Your Holy Spirit, For all of us who choose to hear it, Meanwhile we're splashing..bashing and thrashing, In our rain....

Robert, my friend you have penned a powerful piece here so filled with His truth...and I so agree that if we do not change as a world ...then He will make the ultimate decision. All we can do is keep praying and spreading HIS word and try to enlighten the non-believers! Magnificent job!! Thanks so much for sharing and for taking the time to read my writes! Have a Gloriously Blessed day~Mary

Thanks for this revealing poem Robert. What is a worse personally, is to know what the problem is, and to know what the only cure is, yet few will accept their responsibility concerning the matter. Agape, Moses
