Spiritual Journey

If ever the world were to wander away
To the depths of a dream state, black, white, and grey
Like an old timers movie, condensed in a dream
Scrolling fast through the cosmos, a midnight routine

We could all find the answers we long to unveil
In the darkness of space, where the timelines go stale
Beyond our existence, where spirits meet Christ
All roads leading in from the end of this life

The one way trip home, into freedom and peace
No need to return, a pure cosmic release
If ever the world were to wander away
Would heaven still want us? Or is it too late?
