Spiritual Forgivness

Can you hear the whisper?

Do you feel the words around you?

They speak though nobody can listen

Open your ears and maybe somebody will speak

Take the time to acknowledge the cry for help

And someday just maybe they may just listen to you to

Someday you may just end up another unheard whisper

Just another unheard unacknowledged whisper in the wind

But take the time to open up and realize nothing is always as it's heard

Our fathers can still whisper to us all and they do it as they watch

Still willing to listen still willing to hold their arms out to keep us strong

Even while we are tearing apart ignoring their calling from beyond their graves

Hoping we hear them as they tell us not to follow their mistakes

Whispering to us in hopes we at least once hear them cry out for help

But do you listen to the whisper or ignore them as though they were still alive

You can blame the yelling on your mistakes but we can never ignore the whisper forever
