Spirit of Lament

Aimlessly, I wander in a melancholy lament. Looking deep into my soul as the day is spent. Flaming hues of mountain sunset start to flare. Feeling the dark encroaching shadows of despair Finally, twilight brings in a starry change. As night’s life of love heals the lamented pain. Lying in tall, cool grass, staring into the night sky. I feel this incredible, gentle spiritual pull; I wonder why. Now my soul is amazed as the stars surround me. Only to feel the emptiness between stars is love's sea. I close my eyes; my soul joins her in this gentle flight. Opening my eyes with the morning rays of warm sunlight. In moments together, we found our incredible happiness. To know my spiritual love will always bless.
