Spirit Dancer
Hearts soaring in luminous moonlight
The night frees the soul
The night frees the mind
The spirit dancer at last takes flight
Leaping high it pirouettes on a star
A spirit so bright is seen from afar
The spirit dancer beckons we accede
Up into the air free as you please
A symphony fills the air with opus melodies
Spirits intertwined waltz the twilight dance
Rising and falling in the winds of chance
Onwards and upwards we parade
Touched by the spirit dancers harmonic serenade
Spirits in synchronous effort move as one
Dancing on the stars dancing on the sun
Finally the crescendo builds the music rises
Spirits twirl and whirl accelerating beyond sight
The spirit dancer glows brighter brighter than bright
Then smiling slowly fades into the night
Gently back to earth we fall
Then fast asleep till dawn
Dreaming of the spirit dancer in us all
