Spiders and Monkeys

My sad addictive nature
Is messing with my head
But the one thing I fear most
Are spiders in my bed

No matter what I do
I push it to extremes
And when I'm fast asleep
Arachnids haunt my dreams

I can never drink just one
Or get high enough on smoke
But when it comes to spiders
Man that's really not a joke

Why eight legged critters scare me
I can't find the words to say
If I see one on the wall
I'll just run the other way

My life is growing weary
'Cause I can't resist this urge
But I'll really meet my end
If the two of them both merge

I worry that this combo
Might stage a dual attack
I sense my will too weak
Spider Monkeys on my back
