It happens in a moment sometimes, That change in your life you procure, May not happen during your prime That moment you forever savour. A flash in your mind as a spell As if the world was crystal clear. To no one else can you sell How a notion like this could appear. For life is a series of moments, Some good, some bad, equal measure. As the bad you must not lament, Embrace good as your personal treasure. These spellbinding moments are few To cherish, remember, embrace, The ones where your confidence grew Emblazoned all over your face. It might be that life changing career Some will say it was just down to fate! Whatever the thought that did steer Matters not, you did not hesitate. • influenced by the line ‘it happens in a moment sometimes’ in the film Spellbound staring Gregory Peck.
