Speak the Truth

HE CAME AND HE WENT
HIM AND ME, WE DID NOT FIT
HIS GAMES, I HATED IT
BUT THAT'S WHERE HE GOT HIS KICKS

HE MADE ME FEEL GOOD
BUT ONLY A SHORT TIME
MOST OF THE TIMES, IT WAS BAD
HE PLAYED ME, IN ONLY THE WAY HE CAN
HIS THOUGHTS WAS THAT WE WERE JUST FRIENDS

HE GOT ME, THAT'S FOR SURE
MY TRUST WAS PURE
BUT THAT WASN'T THE CURE
TO THIS BROKEN RELATIONSHIP, I MEAN FRIENDSHIP

I CLIMBED AND I FELL
LOCKED UP IN A CLOSED SHELL
DO I FEEL SAD, CAN'T SAY I DO
A LITTLE RELIEVED, IS THE TRUTH
HE SAID I'M NOT GOING NOWHERE
THAT JUST SHOWS HOW MUCH HE CARES.....RIGHT
