Speak English! You'Re In America Now!

"Speak English! You're in America now!"
Don't pay any mind to morons who make comments of that kind.
Most of them can't speak proper English anyhow.

When I came to America, I didn't demand people to speak French because that was my language. Indeed there are people here from all over the world, but it is very right to learn the language of the land you choose to make your home in. Doens't mean you can't speak your language with your compatriots who live here, but one should make the effort of learning the language of the land in my opinion. If you move to Mexico, you will have to speak Spanish, no? I think accents are cute.

People who make that statement forget that the only difference is that they were lucky to be born here or to English-speaking parents! Peace and love, Audrey

Most of us slaughter the English language in speech and in written form as well. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara
