Speak

I can't erase the past
But I can write my tommorow
I shall give while I'm here
Because this time is borrowed
I will learn to love
Even those that are shallow
I will learn to lead
Those that will follow
I will preach to everyone
Even if it falls on def ears
I will speak the truth even in the face of fear
I will speak the words he wants me to teach
The ones that will learn will continue to preach
They shall smile at the millions that they managed to reach
Speak to all the scholars that are eager to learn
Then they'll save lost souls so no one may burn
Speak to the ones that are still asleep
For when they awaken
Then we will succeed

Hello! Great job on this one! I wonder what religion you are... anyways, wonderful poem and I love this part the best: "I can't erase the past But I can write my tommorow" That part caught my eyes! - DWB
