Sparks Within the Grey

Teaching the future has shown me struggle
a world that most can't juggle
Teaching has shown me the reality
a world forged in inequality

Children struggle every day
Yet few care what they say
eyes on marks, not hearts or pain
We chase results but lose the gain

still I see sparks within the grey
Kids who dream I kinder day
If we can teach them how to see
They may rebuild what used to be.
