Space and Time Regrets

Space is a big mystery
Planets, stars, and moons to see
A bright sun and spaceships too
In a sky so big and blue
But one space mystery I find
Will never get off my mind
The day you wanted to be free
Stopping all your love for me
A blank look upon your face
Saying you just needed space
To find yourself and who you are
My heartstrings broke like a guitars
Weeks and months went by slowly
Not one call has left me lonely
Since I gave you space and time
Hoping what you thought you'd find
Was standing right in front of you
You never had a single clue
That my heart was always yours
Till you walked right out the door
Time and space was not your friend
Losing my love in the end
To a man who always knew
Space would never be an issue
Through closeness and hugs so tight
Time makes everything alright

This poem is simply wonderful! I love how you put both kinds of space and time together to emphasize her loss.
