Sow a Seed

Sow a seed of spiritual gratitude,
Reap spiritual growth of attitude.
Sow a destructive seed of hate and envy,
Reap multitudes of the same from many.

Sow a seed, expressing love and forgiveness,
Reap His many blessings because of this.
Sow a wicked seed, spreading hateful lies,
Reap endless suspicion from once trusting eyes.

Sow a seed of truth, spreading God’s Word,
Reap reward, because many have heard.
Sow a seed, misleading His flock of sheep,
It will be His wrath that you will reap.
