Souvenirs of Love
Invisible tattoos
scars that mark
the growing of a heart.
It’s tearing down
......and building up.
A stream of tears,
broken dreams,
stories of the ones
.......that got away.
Old flames
of passion’s pyre
smoldering in the hiss
...........of weeping’s wont.
Souvenirs of Love
building blocks
of character,
chisels that shape
......a man.
