sound of violence
one dog sits in the house, needing air
his coat is as thick as a grizzly bear
puppy sits as an ant climbs up his tail
goes after it, as if it’s a man with some mail
I sit on my porch, enjoying the sun
until a neighbor behind me takes out a gun
violence is violence, and the sound is bad
if he would move away, I would be grateful and glad
