Soul's Abode

charcoal clouds
  plunder unholy
bullets of rain
  on window
             panes of  
                       pain
  
forlorn flutes
  summon
crows & ravens
  ebony eyes
hunger to
  abduct a
            pomegranate
                          ruby              

in motions
  of seeking 
deeper depths
  where words
drown spirits
  mind spins
               to lose
                    connection

disconnected
  dwelling within
the soul's abode
  whispers
soft & pure
  direct
towards
           a path
of lanterns
           reflecting a 
                       starry night
in each breath
    in each sigh
like a flightless human
    sore spirit soars
to realms
            unseen
to worlds
            unknown

silent
  esoteric echoes 
of mystic music
   willingly
manipulate melancholy
   as mute melodies
unlock gates of
                   Serenity &
                             sincerity

embracing stillness
   silhouettes &
shadows dissolve
   illuminating
the temple 
  of a
human heart's
  soothed soul
resembling a
  golden orb halo
transcending in
  amber orange
                   horizons

free from confinement
