Soulmates

Take me back to the day you stole my heart
I can't take it today
It's getting so hard

The love you gave is the love that is missed
And the lips that I crave
Must long to be kissed

Take me back to when you pierced my soul
And lift me up
From this deep dark hole

Take me back to when our love can be felt
To where that beautiful face
Can make my heart melt

Let's go back to when our love was brand new
Look back and you'll find
My heart beating for you

My heart is now stored in a cold metal box
Where your love is adorned
You are the key to it's locks

Let's go back to a time when I hung in your heart
And look deep down inside
To find why we're apart
