Soulmate

There she lies - my soulmate There, she smiles - my lover and my spouse She now gets up - and softly strolls through our little house My partner is always busy - helping others, here and there Our kindred spirits- first a spark - and then a flame My confidante through life, she is ever-changing, never the same My true love will sometimes break down and cry My true love will at times be in a righteous rage My sweetheart is not always sweet, but ever instinctively kind When she gets my attention, claiming center stage -speaking her mind She is still my soulmate and forever will be - so beautifully human, yet - so perfectly made for me.
