Soulful Stirrings

Take from the air a breath so deep
Awaken from your slumber sleep
Recount the dream before it fades
From black to white, to grey-like shades
Be not afraid from whince it came
Delve deeper still in the mind's dark cave
Unlock the mystery to your own past
Molded into a permanent cast
Break from these chains that bind your soul
Repair the pieces to make you whole
Slip down upon your inner spirit
Listen closely and you will hear it
Heed my words and bring it home
Soften your heart that's made of stone
Forget me never that I might weep
Bound by friendship- it's ours to keep.
