Soul Stirrings
Deep within me, where I often seek
To share the part that is so very meek
There lives the passion that delights
Illuminating even the darkest nights
Deep inside, where Love is like a fire
Burning bright, vividly caressing desire
Rich with colors that express sincerity
Longing to live in such joyful rarity
Deep within me, where my heart knows
How to give and love and always shows
Pride in the beauty which overflows me
Caressing hopes and dreams so free
Deep inside, where embers smolder
Live the feelings of joy that grow bolder
Whispering intimacy to nature’s touch
Flavoring life with tenderness as much
Deep within me, where compassion lives
Embracing dreams with appreciation that gives
A gentle ambiance of acceptance in silence
Which keeps my heart and soul in balance
Deep inside, where faith heals my spirit
Grasping my essence as it draws near it
Awakening my senses to beautiful seasons
Of spring’s inspirations and summer’s reasons
Deep within me, where honesty betrays my emotions
There is a sense of inspiration filling me with devotions
Stirring character and personality with a hand of hope
That leaves me with the assurance that I can always cope
