Notes About The Poem

8/16/2024 for Soul Speak Poetry Contest sponsored by Unseeking Seeker

Soul Speak

Flowing streams,
tangerines,
sunset dreams,
bright smiles gleam -
my life is complete.

Whistles dwell
inside seashells.
Birds like bells
cast love spells -
must be God's heartbeat.

I like this, especially the last line. It has true talent.

Oops, where's my brain...credit where credit is due, "God's heartbeat" I stole from Unseeking Seeker's contest instructions. What a drip I am - lol.

Thanks Hilda. To give credit where credit is due, I stole the "God's heartbeat" phrase from Ink Empress's contest instructions - lol.
