Soul Remembers
Through the hollows of sorrow and weeping,
My way is dark and I long to be sleeping
My heart, fraught with strife and pain
My tears fall like the wrath of rain
The thunder bids my soul awake
Remember sweet kisses, the give and take
Remembered delights, all in my mind
Until the day, my heart, you left behind
I tasted life's happiness complete
and now it's bitterness I greet
