Soul In the Body
Who else knows what the soul is doing?
she fools the body to its lasting ruin
without her, body not a whole
all of these we call a soul?
She never dies but keeps reincarnating
and keeps the body in deep contemplating
she killed the body, and she wouldn't die
oh what a thousand years, if she be tie.
How a soul, a necessary evil
thou hath commitment, but never in full
because you suffer and relish with the body
but when you leave, who can study?
To body, you're the one it be trust
but with dagger, in its heart you thrust
how uneasy it is to know her range
when body wrinkles, she wants a change.
In one body today, another tomorrow
how you left and put body in sorrow
in your absence, presents cry and wail
fast you go in a speed of rail
She hath a heart of immortality
and to body, mortality
shame on body that live today and die tomorrow
so unto new body, the soul could borrow
Her journey in the body a thankless one
when battling the body, she always won
how you left one, unfortunate
and possess another, a fortunate
When she leaves, the body decay and rust
how shameful that it forever turned into dust
how blissful will it be that both be dead in unity
but she betrays the body and remain till eternity.
