Soul
Like a clear chrysalis, it shows
Without obstruction who we are.
It speaks ones true feelings
And desires that one would otherwise ignore.
It will remain long after ones evanescent body
Has faded with time.
We are nothing without it.
It is the unbreakable link that
Keeps us from truly experiencing the
Venomous sting of death.
With it we live on forever.
