Soul

Big brown eyes, pale smile, muddy feet and skin kissed by the sun
All these adds up to who I am
But I am more than me, more than what your eyes can see
I am fighter inside, a warrior is what I’m born to be

My childhood fears, my struggle, my grief and my sorrow
Fuels the fire in me to build a better tomorrow
My regrets, my mistakes and my yearning
My joy, my hope and my day to day learning

My heartbreaks, my tears and my dreams
even my insecurity and low self – esteem
I wouldn’t change a thing I wouldn’t trade at all
For these are what made up my soul.
