So...She Smiles

When I tell her I love her
When I show her the ways
When I dance with her often
And give nothing but praise.

When I cook her some meals
Or read from a book
When I just hold her hand
Or give her that look,

So she smiles…

Each time we’re together
Sometimes, when apart
Each day that we wake up
And give her my heart.

When it gets physical
When the mood is just right
When I kiss her softly
And just say good night,

So she smiles…and so do I
