Sorry

There's this song that I once heard
about sorry being the hardest word,
by some guy called Elton John
whose hair was dead and gone;
until he had it replanted,
oops, sorry, I mean transplanted.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say
is sorry for the way
that I sometimes act with you
and the selfish things I do.
I don't find it hard to say one bit
for at the very heart of it
I appreciate you honestly
and everything you do for me.
So, head's up, here's the news,
from the bottom of my shoes:
I am sorry good and true
and, P.S. , I love you too.
