Russell, I like that you took a calming approach with the picture. For me it elicited a darker feel, but that is the beauty in poetry that we can both paint such different images from the same inspiration! I love these two lanternes you have written, they flow well and use great image building words like serene and sooth. Good luck in the contest to you as well.

U NAILED IT PERFECTLY RUSSELL.. LANTERNE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE FORMS WHEN I FIRST JOINED PS.. GOOD LUCK IN THIS CONTEST.. CREATIVE WORDS LUV..
