I don't know what it is about your poem, but something struck me about it. I like the "myth" "breath" rhyme, especially!

First of all can I add that God is my vindicator, and he will fight for me, and it doesn’t matter what people say or do to me, he will always come through for me in the end. I can say what I need to say when I am accused or treated unfairly, and leave it in God’s hands, he will do the rest. I am not suggesting that one should sit back and let people give you a
