When I first met you , you were so cool and stood so tall,
It took me forever to break down that wall........
Yet , after I got to know you ,
I discovered the you , I liked most of all.........

 Getting your wall torn down, and losing your cover,
I saw the real you , everyone else chose not to bother.......

 I didnt listen to what they had to say,
I knew you were worth the effort ,
every step of the way...........

 We were as close as friends could possibly be,
until God, said 
"Sonny ,I want you with me".........

 Im sad now because we cant keep in touch,
but I know when you are close, because 
I miss you so much.........

 Eventually my time will come , 
and I will see heaven too,
till then I just keep hoping that I will run into you........
