Gert, like U! I have not been active at the soup as much. I try 2 stay away. I still make it a point 2 post a poem every now & than. I also love stopping & making comments on my favorite poets + more. Only if I have the time. But, I do wish 2 return, I miss reading good poetry. Especially when it is magnificent like this 1! I always find myself blinded by your words. The beautiful sound of the sun. NOW! That deserves a big audience & all the space it needs 2 spread it's sun lights. enjoyed,,p.d.

It must be the same in Germany as it is in the American West. The land is flat and the horizon appears so wide as the sun slowly sinks. Lovely image, Gert. The Spanish version has quite a musical cadence to it as well. You're teaching me, dear friend, and maybe one day I will travel to Europe and be able to make out some of the foreign languages thanks to you. Love, Carolyn
