Wie leiser Gesang
Der Untergang der Sonne
Am weiten Horizont

Like a quiet song
The setting of the sun
At wide horizon

I also love stopping & making comments on my favorite poets + more. Only if I have the time. But, I do wish 2 return, I miss reading good poetry. Especially when it is magnificent like this 1! Carolyn Devonshire Date: 9/7/2010 3:51:00 PM It must be the same in Germany as it is in the American West. The land is flat and the horizon appears so wide as the sun slowly sinks. Lovely image, Gert. The Spanish version has quite a musical cadence to it as well.
