Song of the Sirens

I still long, so long, those long nights at sea

With no souls around, but starlight and me

No land, no people, no sirens at night

Picturesque beauty, with unfiltered light

The Song of the Sirens, still call out my name

O'er seas, o'er shadows, o'er waves still untamed

They cradle my soul, then rock me to sleep

I pray as they roll, I'll rest in the deep

But, till that day comes, I'll wish from afar

The smell of the breeze, the wink of a star

So here on my knees, so lonely at night

I'll pray to the stars, with unfiltered sight
