Song of the Lilacs

longing for sweet spring 
to scent the air with lilacs 
twigs and heart shaped leaves 

yearning to caress 
her ornate stems of woodsy
amid fingers blest 

ongoing inhales
breezes of warmly in-scent 
paths and happy trails
