Sonata of a Waking Dream

Sonata of a waking dream
Flower drifting through the breeze
Sing a song within my dream
Every word bursting to redeem
Sonata of list and pride
Bled from a peak tonight
Sound at mind lost at heart
This dream adrift depart
Tell a tale about this dream
Soul in sleep a seam
Tears now freeze they fall
Shatter at touch the call
This constant voice I scream
Sonata of a waking dream..

Your imagery is amazing. I'm only sorry I know so little of poetic forms I cannot comment more knowledgably. I am a retired special education teacher who has written poetry and songs most of my life. I can only say your words created a message and reached me.
