Son, Will You Hold My Hand Tenderly

Dear sweet baby
how old you become no matter
I’ll always be holding
your hand very tenderly
as I held it on the auspicious day
that you were born
but when I grow old
will you hold my hand tenderly
for crossing the zigzags
of old age life of your Dad
