Son of the Northern Lights

Way up in the country
on a majestic winters night
born into the cold
came the son of the northern lights

Under a captivating sky
his first breath could be seen
life rising from the ice
in this land of glacial dreams

He was the chosen one
expected to lead the way
through the eternal darkness
and the forever sunlit days

On the frozen tundra under snow capped mountains
his clan survived and laid their claim
thanks to the son of the northern lights
the land they learned to tame
